ZY BMX OFFICIALS CRUSH IT AT DOWN & DIRTY CONTEST IN ASBURY PARK, NJ

In true Zoo York shred and destroy fashion, the ZY BMX squad rolled into Asbury Park, NJ, for the Red Bull Down & Dirty BMX contest on November 4th, and left a wake of debauchery and destruction behind. To bring some much-needed NYC flavor to Dirty Jerz, the Zoo Crew trucked in a Yellow Cab that was incorporated into the street course. However, before riders had the chance to shred it, one of Zoo’s graf artists gave it a sick custom paint job.

After the cab was dialed with a fresh new coat of Krylon, several ZY BMX Officials led by Vinnie “Calzone” Sammon gave it an authentic NYC beat down and left it for dead.

The cab was built directly into the street course, and plenty of hammers were thrown down by 30 top riders from the US and UK.

When it was all said and done, ZY awarded top finishers with cold hard cash… $11,000 to be exact. Not bad for a day’s work.
