The leading Pro/Am BMX Contest in NYC, The King of New York (KoNY), is one of the longest running bicycle stunt competitions in the world and the only one of its kind in the Big Apple. This year’s event is set for August 9th and 10th, with an open practice on August 8th. KoNY always features the most insane riding by the best NYC has to offer, and winning the event allows bragging rights and a place in New York City BMX history. This year the event has moved to Millennium Skatepark at Owl’s Head Park in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. KoNY is free to watch, so come out and enjoy.
