TOP BMX RIDERS WILL GET DOWN & DIRTY IN DIRTY JERSEY
The top names in BMX street will gather in Asbury Park, NJ, on November 4th to battle it out on a gritty street course housed within the ruins of the once famed Asbury Park Casino. What may be an eyesore to some is the perfect spot for grizzled BMX dogs to shred street-inspired obstacles like a 54-foot articulated NYC bus, a broken down yellow cab, and of course, Jersey barriers.
Riders will compete in teams of four in a jam format. Representing for the Zoo will be Edwin De La Rosa, Vinnie Sammon, Ruel “Wormz” Smith, and Tyrone Williams. Riders will be scored individually, and the team whose combined score is the highest will roll away with pockets full of cold hard cash. There will also be a ZY Best Trick contest at the end of the day. With $10,000 in cash and prizes on the line, you can bet riders will throw down some serious hammers in their quest to claim a piece of the pie.
