2010 has been an absolutely amazing year for Z.Y. Official, Brandon Westgate. Continuing right where he left off in ’09, our boy did it all this year with endless coverage, editorial, ads, covers and a jaw-dropping, standout part in Stay Gold. He traveled constantly, and if you were lucky enough to have him visit your town, you got to witness the spot destruction first hand. All in all, 2010 was unquestionably Brandon Westgate’s year.

The official board release party for Z.Y. International Pro, Andrew McGraw went down last night at Salon Officiel in Montreal, Canada. Swarms of people came out to celebrate and check out Drew’s first two pro models. McGraw’s official Welcome To The Team Video played and the crowd happily partied into the night. Thanks to everyone involved who made this event such a great success.

If you’re in Montreal Wednesday night, don’t miss the official McGraw board release party at Salon Officiel 10pm.

This past Saturday was a big day for Z.Y. Master Rodney Torres, Z.Y. Art Director Brian Mackin and the entire ZOO Family. At a ceremony starting at 1pm, Rodney’s Master Division deck was officially inducted into the Queens Museum of Arts’ permanent collection. Rodney, along with Z.Y. Field Agents, Dave Willis, Kevin Tierney and Jarrod Brandreth were on hand to take part in the celebration and skate with the kids at the museum and neighboring Maloof park.

Make sure to stop by the museum and pay homage to a major piece in the history of Queens and NYC skateboarding.
