Tenderloin Skate Club is a part of HOODS Recreational Group in conjunction with Up On Top after-school program here at Tenderloin Community School in San Francisco. HOODS is a group of volunteers and community activists dedicated to providing safe activities for low-income and at-risk kids in The City.
HOODS started as an annual snowboard trip to the mountains of Lake Tahoe with the help of volunteers and donated services and products. The trip is a way for at-risk teens to explore our world in a safe environment under the care of positive mentors. Tenderloin Skate Club provides kids from 2nd to 5th grades a safe place to skate.
If you’re in the area on May 29th, make sure you stop by the SAUGERTIES SKATEPARK BENEFIT. All proceeds will go toward maintaining the park! Check out the flyer below for all the details.
