The Focus Mag crew recently released their first full-length DVD called “Rise and Shine.” You can pick up a copy at their online store focusskatemag.com, and here’s the trailer.

Coming off a hectic month of May that was packed with filming missions, late night photo shoots, demos, and numerous special events in and around NYC, the Zoo Crew is now gearing up for a lengthy Europe Tour that will run from June 11th through July 3rd.

Along for the ride will be ZY Officials Zered Bassett, Donny Barley, Aaron Suski, Kevin Taylor, Forrest Kirby, Brandon Westgate, Matt Miller, Anthony Shetler, Lamare Hemmings, Ron Deily, and Eli Reed. Led by the hardest working TM in the industry, Seamus Deegan, the crew will host autograph signings and demos in fourteen cities spread throughout the United Kingdom, Sweden, Germany, Switzerland, Holland, Czech Republic, and France.

Mike Kosciesza and Arthur Swidzinski are two 20-year-old college students from the Chicago suburbs. This summer they will be filming a feature length documentary called SHRED AMERICA. Arthur and Mike, along with a two-person camera crew, will skateboard over 850+ miles from Chicago to New York City and document their epic skateboarding adventure. A portion of the movie’s proceeds will be donated to a Chicago-based charity.
The journey begins on June 2nd. Mike and Arthur will depart from downtown Chicago early that morning at Grant Park and skate along the lakeshore bike path toward Indiana (peep their entire travel route below). With almost a year of planning and preparation under their belt, the journey is finally about to begin. Their goal is to make it to NYC within a month’s time, and the Zoo Crew wishes them the best of luck on their mission to SHRED AMERICA. We look forward to seeing you guys in NYC soon!

This weekend the crew from The Skateboard Mag is leaving sunny SoCal and heading to the Big Apple to link up with ZY Official, Zered Bassett, for a special “Rollin’ With” segment that will be filmed in the streets of New York. If you’ve got a question for Dr. Z, submit it on The Skateboard Mag’s website and it just might get asked during his interview.
